• To enhance student participation

Brainstorm how you could incorporate the internet into your classroom to further enhance student learning in regards to research, communication, and collaboration…
• Use SIRS research to enable students to research information in a child safe environment
• Students can e-mail, blog, or chat with children in any part of the world to compare or reflect on any topics or course of study
• United Streaming and Brain-Pop videos related to content areas
Group members Kriss, Floy, Vernelle, and Pam respond to discussion topic on 4.04
The student samples demonstrated the level of understanding of the unit and content questions. It provided a showcase for them to display their knowledge and for the teacher to assess that knowledge. The 21st century skills include use of the internet for research and communication. Collaboration with other students was evident. They had to organize and make plans to meet the rubric requirements.
They had to have a plan to present to their peers, what they found. Rubric and checklists provide a way to perform individual and self assessments.
